Arts Integration/Interdisciplinary Learning Training
Arts integration is an approach to teaching in which the arts—visual art, music, drama, or dance—are woven into core subjects like math, science, language arts, and social studies. Interdisciplinary learning connects ideas and skills across different subjects, helping students see how knowledge is connected in real life.
Instead of teaching each subject in isolation, educators use themes or projects that blend content areas. For example, students might explore geometry through dance, history through theater, or science through visual art.
